Join us at 2pm on Thursdays.
(July 23, 30
August 6, 13, 20 and 27)
Experience the power and beauty of the Bible with new eyes! This study seeks to put various interpretations of the ancient scriptures into dialogue. Such dialogue helps us understand why, when we read the same text, we come away with different views. The better we can see through the eyes of our neighbors, the better able we are to be good neighbors.
July 23: “The Creation of the World”
July 30: “Adam and Eve"
August 6: “A Virgin will Conceive and Bear a Child”
August 13: “Isaiah’s Suffering Servant”
August 20: “The Sign of Jonah”
August 27: “My God, my God, Why Have You Forsaken Me?”
No reading assignments. Each session is independent, so join us for some or all sessions. A participant guide with detailed information is available, but optional.
